Harav Shlomo Zafrani

The Rav explained that the difference between truth and non-truth is if the feeling of the person can be long lasting or only short lived. The Jewish nation has built in their essence the ability to live by truth and to endure all the very difficult tests of the world of falsehood around them. A person must work on himself to be a true בן תורה a true יראת שמים and not allow the influences around him to change him, this is the definition of truth.

Chacham Yitzhak Yosef

The Zohar says, that if a person goes a day without falling, Hashem kisses him on his forehead out of love. This is what makes Bachurim so special today. The Rav told us that even if one fell many times, if he attaches himself to learning then the light of the Torah will bring him to do Teshuvah המאור שבה מחזירהו למוטב, there is only one עצה to succeed in this world, and that is being attached to learning.

The rabbi explained to us that everyone comes to this world with a mission to build a family of בני תורה and then we move on to the next world. We leave behind us what we built. Every person has to feel the responsibility to build himself because ultimately he has the responsibility of the next generation.

Rabbi Dovid Cohen

The Rav stressed that we need to get clear, that the purpose of life is חיי רוחנים – spiritual life, and we should be satisfied with what ever גשמיות Hashem gave us, all our goals and desires should be directed towards growing spiritually, in this way we will live a happy life. Those that think the main point of life is חיי גשמיות and set goals and desire for a higher lifestyle, end up with nothing and waisted the purpose of life on nothing.
